Scott Clark: Feldenkrais Classes & Lessons in London

practitioner weekend:
further training
for
Feldenkrais
practitioners

Saturday & Sunday, 1 & 2 November 2008:
10.30-4.30; £80
The Open Centre, 3rd floor, 188 Old Street
London EC1 (4 minutes from Old Street Tube Station → map)

Please do book in advance; previous courses have been full, and some late enquirers were turned away!

Improve your confidence in giving FI. We will look at elements of an FI template, considering technique and use, preparation and applicability.

With seventeen years of practice under my belt, and also through assisting in trainings and participating in Larry Goldfarb's Mentoring Mentors course, I feel increasingly able to fulfill that most respectable and challenging of roles: to be a Feldenkrais Practitoner. I'm eager to help others travel the same road.

Please phone or e-mail to ensure there is space in the workshop. Then send a deposit of half the fee, that is, £40; the remainder will be payable on the first day. Cheques should be made out to Feldenkrais London (no longer 'Ltd') and sent to:

13 Camellia House
Idonia Street
London SE8 4LZ

(My next practitioner weekends after this will be:
21 & 22 February 2009, then 13 & 14 June 2009.)

In Praise of Homework    pdf file
An article that might be of interest to practitioners, discussing the use of ‘homework’ in FI, especially in relation to the structure of the lessons.

Using Yanai: Making Alexander Yanai Lessons Easier to Teach (and do!)    pdf file
The first time I tried to teach lessons from the Alexander Yanai series in my public classes, I found it difficult verging on impossible. Then suddenly it became much easier — what changed?
